But the report says that this punishment would stem from a failed marijuana test, and that he received a letter from the league telling him he faced a 16-game suspension but had the right to appeal. The 23-year-old Gordon, who led in receiving yards last season, was suspended for two games last season due to a violation of the NFL's drug policy. According to the ESPN report, Gordon is facing a longer suspension for a second violation, this time for marijuana.
